Elder Bobby Deary, Pastor
Elder Bobby Deary was filled with the Holy Ghost on July 28, 1997 and was baptized in the name of Jesus at Zion Church in Jesus Christ on June 13, 1999. Under the leadership of Dr. Gloria J. Jones he acknowledged and accepted his call to the ministry in 2002. A dynamic teacher and preacher Elder Deary is a diligent student of the word of God. He has been instrumental in helping to build the ministry by serving as past President of the Brotherhood and as a Sunday school teacher.
He was ordained as an Elder on July 25, 2007 by the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith (PCAF). Currently he serves as Superintendent of the Sunday School Department and Chairman of the United Northwest District Council (UNDC).
Elder Deary graduated from the World Harvest Evangelistic Ministries Bible College and Seminary with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Elder Deary and Minister Nikkea Deary have celebrated 8 years of marriage. God has blessed this union with six children, DelVonte, Demetrice, Valencia, Deshawn, Kiara and Kaleb.

Elder John Howard John Howard, Elder
Elder John Howard was filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost on Mothers Day, May 1954. The Lord had a special calling for him, and he responded to the voice of the Lord. In 1955 Elder Howard was appointed pastor of the Mt. Zion Church upon the passing of its founder Elder Joseph H. Edison.
He was instrumental in working with the saints of Mt. Zion Church and in 1956 the church was reorganized and renamed Zion Church in Jesus Christ. Elder Henry Scroggins Henry Scroggins, Elder
Elder Henry Scroggins received the gift of the Holy Ghost at an early age. In the 1940's his family moved from San Francisco to Fresno California. He was baptized in the name of JESUS at the Witness of Jesus Christ Church under the late Bishop R. J. Anderson.
Elder Scroggins has used his many gifts and talents in the church doing whatever his hands were able to do. The Lord blessed Elder Scroggins with the ability to have a photographic memory. He could memorize and locate any scripture and verse in the bible. read more

Elder Henry Williams, Sr. Henry Williams, Sr., Elder
Elder Henry Williams moved to Sacramento, California in 1961 with his mother and siblings. He received the gift of the Holy Ghost at an early age while attending a Church Of God in Christ in the state of Louisiana. In Sacramento, he met Elder Sam Jones and in 1967 was baptized in the name of Jesus at Zion Church in Jesus Christ.
Elder Williams is a faithful and dedicated member of Zion Church. In 1968 he was given the assignment of driving the church van. He was a timely driver and believed in transporting the saints to church on time. read more

Elder Lawrence Shelton Lawrence Shelton, Elder
Elder Lawrence Shelton was baptized in the Name of Jesus and filled with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost at Miracle Temple Apostolic Pentecostal Church under the late Pastor District Elder Harold Sheffield Holliman. On his Christian journey he received a calling from the Lord and he answered under Elder Thomas Gandy Jr. GOD blessed Elder Shelton to serve and minister for 20 years as a faithful member at Miracle Temple where he was one of the Assistant Pastors under Dr. Lelia Edwards. read more

Elder Daniel Williams Daniel Williams, Elder
Dr. Williams was born and raised in Nigeria where he received the Holy Ghost in 1986, and migrated to the Unites States in 1988. As a student at Government College in Ibadan, Nigeria, he worked on starting a Christian fellowship in a country where fellowships were not allowed on school campuses. Several miracles occurred in the fellowship including the lame walking and the blind seeing in the name of Jesus. On Dec 27, 1997, he was baptized in the name of Jesus at Peace Apostolic Church under Bishop Howard Swancy, and worked on the baptismal committee there until 2005 when he migrated to Chicago. In Chicago, he was assistant pastor to Elder Neely Dotson, Pastor of Trueway Apostolic Faith Church until 2009 when he migrated with his family to Roseville, CA, and became a member at Zion Church in Jesus Christ under the pastorate of Dr. Pastor Gloria Jones. Dr. Williams is married to Sister Hope Williams and they have two children. He is a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician.

Evangelist Gwendolyn Perry received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 8 years old. She received GOD into her life and started the journey to fulfill her destiny along life's path. She has held many positions and responsibilities of service throughout her Christian walk with GOD. read more

Minister Cathy Allen Kathy Allen, Minister
Minister Kathy Allen is a member of the church she was born and raised in, Zion Church in Jesus Christ, under the leadership of the late Bishop Sam Jones and the current pastor, Dr. Gloria Jones. Kathy received the Holy Ghost at the age of 17. She is a fireball that can preach you a whole anointed message in just a few minutes and will break out in a shout at any minute when the Holy Ghost moves.
Minister Allen officially answered the call to the ministry in 1990 at the young age of 27, even though she had been preaching for many years before that. She has been active in many areas of the church serving as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth President, and the Youth Advisor of the United Northwest District Council of the Pentecostal (UNDC) Churches of the Apostolic Faith (PCAF). She is a true example of Whatever your hands find to do- Do It!
Minister Allen has been married for 21 wonderful years to her best friend and companion, Deacon Gregory Allen,Sr. They have two children, Gregory Allen, Jr. and Kimberly. At any given time, you may hear Minister Kathy quoting one of her favorite scriptures, Psalms 27:4- One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and enquire in this temple, or singing her favorite song-Already been to the water, Already been baptized, soul has been converted and I feel, I feel ,I feel, I feel Alright!!!! Minister Allen continues to share the joy of Jesus with whomever she comes in contact with, declaring that her steps are ordered by the Lord!

Minister Allen Scott Anthony Scott, Minister
Minister Anthony Scott has dedicated 14 years of his life to the ministry. He is the nephew of the late Bishop Sam Jones. In addition to his ministry he serves loyally on the usher board and brotherhood to name a few but witnessing and encouraging others is what he loves best. Born into the Zion Church Family 42 years ago Minister Anthony is here to stay!

Minister Nikkea Deary Nikkea Deary, Minister
Minister Nikkea Deary was baptized in the name of Jesus in 1986 at Zion Church in Jesus Christ, under the late Bishop Sam Jones. She received the Holy Ghost on Sunday, November 12, 1998, after Bishop Sam Jones called for everyone to come to the alter and pray. Minister Deary has served in many positions, Youth President, Sunday School Secretary, Sunday school treasurer and Teen Bible Class teacher. Currently she is the church secretary, teacher for the Sunday School Teachers training course at Zion and is secretary for the United Northwest District Council (UNDC).
God has truly blessed Minister Deary in her ministries over the years. However, on April 16, 2010, she acknowledged and accepted her call to the ministry. She delivered her first official sermon on June 13, 2010.
Minister Deary loves to teach the word of God. Her favorite scripture is Romans 12:1-2, I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice Holy, and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
Minister Deary received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from California State University, Sacramento in May 2000. She completed the disciplines of Ministers on March 2009, Elder/Evangelist on July 2009, and Ordination November 2009 and graduated from Greater Grace School of Ministry.
Elder Deary and Minister Nikkea Deary have celebrated 8 years of marriage. God has blessed this union with six children, DelVonte, Demetrice, Valencia, Deshawn, Kiara and Kaleb.

Minister Gregory Allen, Jr. Gregory Allen, Jr., Minister
Minister Gregory Allen, Jr. is the oldest son of Deacon Gregory Allen, Sr. and Minster Kathy Allen. He has been saved since he was 9 years old. He preached his first message at the tender age of two. After receiving the baptism in Jesus Name and the Holy Ghost he felt a call by God to preach the gospel. He preached his first official sermon at the age of twelve.
He is currently attending American River College where he is pursuing a career in Journalism. Along with preaching the gospel, Gregory is a talented drummer, keyboard and saxophone player. God has also given his a gift to write and direct plays. He is currently a Sunday School Teacher, a VBS instruction, choir member and Vice-president of the United Northwest District Council Youth Department. Gregory loves the Lord and wants to continue to encourage God's people through his ministry.

Minister Cleta Shelton Cleta Shelton, Minister
Minister Cleta Shelton was born to the proud parents of James Earl and Bobbye Delores Wright on October 14, in Duncan, Oklahoma. From the beginning of her childhood the path of Holiness was planted. During, Minister Shelton's childhood, she and her 3 siblings went around local churches singing gospel songs, encouraging saints.
Minister Cleta Shelton was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost, under the late Pastor District Elder Harold Sheffield Holiman, Founder of Miracle Temple Apostolic Pentecostal Church where they and their children was faithful member for 20 years. It was here that their ministries began under the organization of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World also known as PA of W. It was here that Minister Cleta Shelton answered her call into the ministry.
Minister Cleta Shelton gained her spiritual tutelage through great men and women of God throughout and within the PA of W such as: District Elder Jerry Hubbard, pastor of Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Vallejo, CA., the late Elder Thomas Gandy Jr., pastor of Miracle Temple APC where Minister Cleta Shelton was a supporting minister, and ministered through her anointed singing voice. During her time at Miracle Temple APC under Dr. Lelia Edwards, Minister Cleta Shelton served as the Youth Pastor, Minister of Music, Armor Bearer, Sunday School and Bible Study Teacher, Choir President, and Choir President.
Minister Cleta Shelton attended Aenon Bible College the Richmond Branch under the Director of Dr. Betty R. Hendricks, Pastor of Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church. Minister Cleta Shelton graduated with honors, many certificates, ministerial license, and teachings of the apostolic doctrine.
Minister Cleta Shelton has been involved in other ministries within the organization as well as outside of the PA of W, such as Northern Brotherhood Convention, California District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Northern Apostolic Women Convention, and supporters of the Northern Pentecostal Young Peoples Union.
Minister Cleta Shelton along with her anointed husband Elder Lawrence Shelton have been serving the Lord for over 20 years. They are proud parents of Carlita, Jonathan, Christopher and Jasmine and proud grandparents of Christon, Precious, Ro�meail, Tatyana & Cherish.

Minister Caritla Singleton Caritia Singleton, Minister
Minister Singleton was born again in 1980, in Los Angeles, CA at the Greater Bethlehem Temple Church. She is the eldest of four siblings and is the mother of two children, and grandmother of 3. She was baptized by her uncle Bishop Winston Lee Singleton who is known for his powerful deliverance and healing ministry.
Shortly thereafter, she received the Holy Ghost and had a vision and saw Jesus at the cross surrounded by light and she found herself at the foot of the cross where many women were crying. She returned to Sacramento and attended the Zion Church and began to witness on the streets and to her family and friends. The mothers of Bible Way Church, Mother Darby, Mother Jefferson, and Mother Lee recognized the gifts of God in her and began to teach her the way of holiness, how to care for her children, how to pray, fast, talk to God. She also learned how to be obedient to leadership, how to witness, how to be a missionary, how to care for and respect the mothers, how to love her enemies, and pray for those who despitefully use her, how to glean the fields and how to can food. In return, God blessed her.
In 1981, she moved to Los Angeles and received her minister's license and became a part of Dr. Singleton's ministry pulpit staff every Sunday reading the word for Dr. Singleton, assist in the prayer lines, deliverance and healing ministry and president of the foreign mission for seven years.
She has held several positions since she was saved such as, adult and children's Sunday school teacher, board member, secretary and janitor.
She attended Moore's business college, American River, and LA West College. She is also the author of two published works (International Library of Congress and The Christian Science Monitor), two unpublished works (Book of Poetry and a manuscript), and a business woman.

Minister Gwendolyn Murphy Gwendolyn Murphy, Minister
Since 1986 Minister Murphy has been a member of the Zion Church Family. The calling of ministry was upon her at the age of 25. Born and raised in Bakersfield, Ca. She has worked diligently in the kingdom of God. Minister Murphy has served as a Sunday school teacher, past president of the foreign mission department and current president of the U.N.D.C. Missionary Department. Whatever Minister Murphy finds her hands to do she does it and does it well!
